Jordan is a Research Associate at the department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. He gained his MSci at Cambridge before working as an industrial chemist at BP. He then returned to Cambridge for his PhD where he studied solid-liquid interactions in catalytic materials using variable frequency magnetic resonance techniques. His current research continues to focus on the development and application of magnetic resonance techniques to optimize industrial chemical processes, with particular interests in understanding the fundamentals of solid-liquid interactions at interfaces and how to apply these techniques to real world systems.
