Dr Anthony H. Wild 

Tony Wild is an alumnus of The University of York, indeed one of the first batch of chemistry graduates there in 1968, before moving to Churchill to do a PhD in physical chemistry. Whilst at Churchill he met his future wife Anna and, following their marriage at the College Chapel, moved to her native Switzerland where he embarked on a career in the international pharmaceutical industry which took them on a journey to six different countries ending in the U.S. as global head of Parke-Davies Inc., subsequently as Chairman and CEO of MedPointe Pharmaceuticals. Following its sale in 2007, he and his wife moved back to Switzerland where he is now an active investor in, board member of, and mentor to a portfolio of privately owned healthcare start-up companies.

Tony has been actively assisting Churchill in fund raising in the U.S. and elsewhere since the early 2000s and was the major sponsor of Churchill Archives’ highly successful exhibition ‘The Power of Words’ in 2012.
