As the Master announced in her most recent email to alumni, the College recently launched a Covid-19 contingency fund to help cover core College costs and meet the increased need to support our students academically, pastorally and financially.
This fund will be critical in ensuring we can continue to support all our students in need at this unprecedented time. Due to the pandemic with the College faces a £1.3 million shortfall in income due to lost rents and conference income.
We have been over-whelmed by the positive response to the fund since it was launched. To date, the campaign has raised £143,800 from over 100 alumni with donations coming from a wide range of countries including Japan, Australia, China, the USA, Canada and the UK, to name a few! We are hugely grateful to all those who have been in a position to contribute to the fund. We are also delighted to report that thanks to a group of supporters, including current Fellows, the gifts received thus far have been doubled. There remains another £6,000 of matching funding available until 30 June.
If you feel you are in a relatively stable financial position you can therefore still double the impact by donating to the fund here.
We are tremendously grateful for every gift given
