Churchill College is the ideal base for your studies at Cambridge.
Churchill students are high-achieving people who look out for one another, academically and socially. Ours is a diverse community with a relaxed feel that achieves outstanding academic results.
As a student here, you’d be accommodated on our 42-acre campus, the biggest College site in Cambridge. You’d benefit from living right by our dining hall, sports fields, music centre, libraries, theatre, cafe/bar, and more.
The fact that all these key facilities are in one place supports Churchill’s unique sense of community. Our students work, eat, live, and thrive together.
All undergraduates live on-site for the duration of their three or four year courses, and all first-year postgraduates can get College accommodation. Second and third year postgraduates may apply to live in College rooms – around two-thirds are housed on-site.
Undergraduate
Undergraduate admissions are handled by our Admissions Office, where our Lead Admissions Tutor oversees the recruitment and selection of prospective students. You’d apply to Cambridge through UCAS, choosing Churchill as your preferred campus. Our admissions process is comparable to many other UK universities, though there’re a few differences because Cambridge is collegiate (based around Colleges).
Postgraduate
Applicants for graduate courses should apply to the University in the first instance, and application should be made through the University’s Graduate Admissions Office (formerly known as the Board of Graduate Studies) using the Applicant Portal for most graduate courses; exceptions are the PGCE, MBA, MFin and Clinical Medicine. Current undergraduate members of Churchill wishing to apply for graduate courses should initially consult their Director of Studies or tutor.
